30% of Iceland's electricity is of geothermal origin - the highest percentage worldwide
- Holds record with most chlamydia amongst its people in Europe (seriously, are they that bored?!)
- Mosquitoes don't exist in Iceland (and I know where I'll be now spending all my summers)
- There are no McDonalds, Starbucks and H&M in Iceland
